How to Add a WhatsApp Group to a Community
- Open the WhatsApp application on your phone.
- You will be taken to the main screen displaying your chat list.
- From this page, tap on the community option located at the bottom panel.
- Create a community by following the on-screen instructions if you haven’t done so already.
- Next, tap on the chats icon at the bottom panel to return to the previous page.
- From the chat list, select the community chat you wish to add a group to.
- Look for the option labeled ‘add group’ and tap on it.
- You can choose to either add an existing group or create a new one. For this tutorial, we’ll add an existing group.
- Tap on the circle right beside the group name you wish to add.
- Then tap on ADD at the top right corner of the screen.
- Finally, tap on the add to community button to include this group in the community.
- Once done, you’ll see that the group is now part of the community list.
- Repeat these steps to add multiple groups if needed.
