How to Add Nearby on Snapchat
Snapchat is a fun way to connect with friends and discover new ones nearby. In this guide, I’ll show you how to use the Snapchat app to add nearby users to your friend list effortlessly.
- Open the Snapchat Application: Launch the Snapchat app on your phone. This will take you directly to the camera screen where you can capture snaps and videos.
- Access Your Profile: On the camera screen, locate and tap on your profile icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Open Snap Map: From your profile, find and tap on the Snap Map option. This will display your current location indicated by your bitmoji.
- Identify Active Spots: Observe the map for blue spots around your bitmoji; these are hotspots where other Snapchat users are currently active.
- Explore Stories: Tap on a blue spot near your location to view stories shared by users from that area.
- View User Profiles: When you find a story you enjoy, tap on the username located on the bottom left corner to access the user’s profile.
- Add as Friend: On the user’s profile, tap on the Add Friend button to send a friend request.
- Discover Places: Explore stories from various spots around you by tapping on Places and selecting your desired location.
