Instagram provides powerful insights, known as analytics, that help you understand how your content is performing. In this tutorial, we will guide you through setting up your Instagram professional account and accessing your analytics to better understand your audience engagement and reach.
How to Check Instagram Analytics
- Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
- Tap on your profile icon located at the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap the three lines at the top right corner to open the menu.
- Scroll down and select Account Type and Tools.
- Tap on switch to Professional Account. Instagram will ask you to select a category that best fits your account. Choose something relevant, like Digital Creator.
- After selecting a category, tap Done.
- Select the option Creator and then tap Next.
- If your Professional Dashboard doesn’t appear immediately, close and reopen the Instagram app.
- Once reopened, go to your profile and locate the new option at the top called Professional Dashboard. Tap on it.
- Inside the Professional Dashboard, you will find sections such as Accounts Reached, Accounts Engaged, and Total Followers.
- Tap on Accounts Reached to see how many people have viewed your posts and reels.
- Tap on Accounts Engaged to check how many people have interacted with your content.
