How to Delete Saved Messages on Snapchat
Snapchat offers a way to remove messages you no longer wish to keep. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can delete saved messages on the platform.
- Open the Snapchat application: Launch the Snapchat app on your phone. You will be greeted with the camera screen.
- Access the chat list: Navigate to the bottom panel and tap on the chat icon to view your list of chats with friends on Snapchat.
- Select a chat: Choose a chat from your list by tapping on it.
- Manage message saving: To save a message, press and hold the message within the chat; tap on Save in Chat.
- If you wish to unsave a message, press and hold it again and select Unsave in Chat.
- Alternatively, you can simply tap on the message to save or unsave it.
- Open your profile: Go back to the main screen and tap on your profile icon located at the top-left corner.
- Access settings: Tap the settings icon at the top right corner of your profile page.
- Scroll down to the Privacy Control section and select Clear Data.
- In the list of options, tap on Clear Conversation.

- Confirm your action by tapping Clear, which will remove the conversation from your feed. Note that this does not delete any saved or sent messages within the conversation.
