How to Draft a Post on Instagram
Instagram has become an indispensable platform for sharing moments and stories with friends and followers. Whether you’re preparing a personal update or crafting a professional post, learning to draft posts can help you refine your content before it goes live.
- Open the Instagram app on your device.
- Tap the plus icon located at the bottom center of the screen.
- Choose a photo or video from your gallery, or tap the camera icon at the top right to take a new one.
- After selecting your media, tap Next.
- Edit your post by adding filters, adjusting settings, or tagging people.
- If not ready to publish, tap the back arrow at the top left corner.
- Tap back again, and Instagram will prompt you to save the post as a draft.
- Tap Save Draft to keep your post.
- To access saved drafts later, tap the plus icon again.
- Below your recent photos, find the section labeled Drafts.
- Tap on Drafts to view and edit your saved posts before sharing them.
