Screen sharing on WhatsApp is a new feature that allows you to share your phone screen with contacts during a video call. In this guide, we’ll show you how to enable this feature with a few simple steps.
How to Enable WhatsApp Screen Sharing
- Open the WhatsApp application on your phone. This will bring you to the chats page where all ongoing conversations are displayed.
- From the chats page, select any chat with the contact you wish to share your screen with.
- In the top right corner, tap on the video call icon to initiate a video call with the selected contact.
- Once in the video call, navigate to the bottom left corner and tap on the three dots menu.
- Select Share Screen from the displayed options to start sharing your screen with the contact on the other end.
- Remember that the contact will be able to see everything on your screen, including notifications. Enable Do Not Disturb mode to avoid unexpected notifications appearing.
- To stop screen sharing, you can simply end the call or deselect the Share Screen option at any time.
