How to Remove My AI from Snapchat
Sometimes, users prefer to remove the My AI chatbot feature from their Snapchat app to maintain a streamlined chat interface. Follow this step-by-step guide to effectively eliminate My AI from your Snapchat account.
- Open the Snapchat application on your phone. You will land on the camera screen immediately.
- Navigate to the chat screen by tapping the chat icon located on the bottom panel.
- Locate My AI in your chat list, then tap and hold it.
- Access Chat and Notification Settings by hitting the appropriate option once you’ve selected My AI.
- Select Hide Chats. Here, you’ll see three options for when your chat should be hidden: ‘After Viewing’, ’24 Hours after Viewing’, and ‘7 Days after Viewing’. Choose the option that best suits your privacy needs.
- Go to Notification Settings and enable the Mute Chats feature to select how long you’d like the notifications to be muted.
- Additionally, you can enable Mute Calls and select a time frame for how long you wish to mute call notifications.
- Tap on Done once you have set your desired preferences.
- Navigate back to the main menu and tap on your profile icon located at the top left.
- Go to the Settings icon in the top right corner of your profile page.
- Scroll to the Privacy Control section and tap on Clear Data.
- Choose the option to Clear My AI Data and then tap on Confirm to delete all previous chat data with My AI.
