Snapchat is a widely-used application that allows users to send and receive messages, photos, and even videos. However, sometimes you might want to keep your chats hidden from plain sight. This guide will walk you through how to hide chats in Snapchat easily.
How to Hide Chats on Snapchat
- Open the Snapchat App: Launch the Snapchat application on your phone. This will take you to the camera screen by default.
- Access Chat List: On the camera screen, go to the bottom panel and tap on the chat icon. This will display your chat list with friends on Snapchat.
- Select a Chat: Browse through the chat list and go to any chat you wish to hide. Tap on the Bitmoji icon of the selected chat to open the menu bar.
- Modify Chat Settings: Click on Chat and Notification Settings.
- Delete Chats Setting: Choose the option delete chats after and select 7 days after viewing from the three options presented.
- Clear from Chat Feed: Tap on the option to clear from chat feed and confirm by tapping on clear.
- Search for Chats: Tap on the search icon to find the chat in your recents. Open the chat to view notifications.
- Chat Removal: The chat is now removed from the main chat feed, effectively hiding it from immediate view.
