How to Hide Tagged Photos on Instagram
- Open the Instagram app on your phone.
- Tap on your profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines (also known as the menu) at the top right corner.
- Select Settings and Privacy from the menu options.
- Scroll down and tap on Tags and Mentions.
- You will see an option called Manually Approve Tags; tap on it.
- This will display all photos where you have been tagged.
- To hide a photo, tap Select at the top right corner of the screen.
- Choose the post you want to hide by tapping on it.
- After selecting the post, tap Hide at the bottom left corner.
- A confirmation message will appear, letting you know that the tagged photo will no longer appear on your profile. Note that you will still be able to see it in the original post.
