How to Import WhatsApp Chat to Telegram
- Open the WhatsApp application on your phone.
- You will be directed to the chats page where all your conversations are listed.
- Select any chat you wish to import.
- Tap on the chat name at the top to access further options.
- Scroll down and tap on Export Chat.
- Choose whether to attach media with the chat or not. Note that attaching media will create a larger archive.
- Wait for the chat to export.
- Among sharing options, tap on More followed by selecting Telegram from the list.
- Select the contact you wish to share the messages with or search for their name using the search bar.
- Tap on Import.
- Imported messages will appear according to their original time and date alongside the existing message history. Both sides of the conversation will be able to see the imported messages.
