How to Know if Someone Muted You on Instagram
With Instagram’s bustling interface and countless interactions, it can sometimes be unclear who is truly engaging with your content. This step-by-step guide will help you determine if someone has muted your posts or stories on Instagram.
- Open the Instagram application on your phone. Once opened, you’ll be directed to the Instagram homepage, where you can see posts and stories from friends and accounts you follow.
- Navigate to the bottom right corner of the screen and tap on your profile icon. This will take you to your profile, where you have options to view and edit your profile details.
- Select the “Following” tab on your profile. This list displays all the accounts you are currently following.
- Tap on an account from this list to bring up more options.
- Tap on the “Following” button of the account you’ve selected. From here, you have management options such as mute, restrict, or unfollow.
- Return to the homepage and tap on “Your Story” in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tapping the camera icon, capture a new photo by pressing the capture button and then share it as your story by selecting “Your Story.”
