Instagram is a popular social media platform that allows users to share photos and videos with their followers. However, there are times when you might want to post content without it showing up on your followers’ feeds. Here’s how you can do just that.
How to Post on Instagram Without It Showing on Feed
- Open the Instagram App: Launch the Instagram application on your phone to access the main interface.
- Access the New Feed Page: You will automatically be taken to the new feed page where you can see the activities of the accounts you follow.
- Tap the Plus Sign: Locate and tap on the plus sign (+) at the bottom panel to begin a new post.
- Select a Photo or Video: Choose the photo or video from your camera roll that you wish to post.
- Proceed to Next: After selecting your desired media, tap on next to move forward.
- Select Audiences: On the next page, find the audiences option and tap it.
- Edit Close Friends List: Tap on the circle next to close friends and make sure to unselect all of the audience from the list.
- Confirm Audience Selection: Once you have no people selected, tap done to confirm your choice.
- Review Audience Settings: Ensure that the audience is set to close friends and remember there are no people in that list to view your post.
- Share Your Post: Tap share to post it. The post will be visible on your profile, but will not appear in your followers’ feeds, as no audiences have been selected to view it.
By following these simple steps, you can effortlessly share content on Instagram without it becoming part of your followers’ news feeds. This method is excellent for keeping certain posts more private and less visible.
