How to Post Reels on Instagram
- Ensure you have a video ready to share. This can be any video saved on your phone or created within the Instagram app.
- Open the Instagram app on your phone.
- Locate and tap the plus (+) button at the bottom of the screen.
- If Instagram opens to create a regular post by default, change this to Reels by selecting the Reel option at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the video you want to upload from your camera roll or record a new one directly in the app.
- Once your video is selected or recorded, tap Next.
- Edit your Reel by trimming the video, or adding music, text, stickers, or effects using the tools provided.
- When satisfied with your edits, tap Next again.
- Add necessary details such as a caption, tag people, and choose where your Reel will be shared.
- Adjust the cover image by selecting a frame from the video or uploading a new image.
- If everything looks good, tap Share to publish your Reel to Instagram.
- Your followers can view it under the Reels tab on your profile.
