How to Remove Your TikTok Profile Picture
- Open the TikTok App: Start by launching the TikTok app on your phone. You’ll be directed to the TikTok homepage, where you can see the latest videos.
- Access Your Profile: Move to the bottom right corner of the screen and tap on your profile icon. This will take you to the profile page where you can see your personal information.
- Edit Your Profile: Tap on the ‘edit profile’ button. This section allows you to modify information such as your name, profile photo, username, bio, and more.
- Attempt to Change Photo: Tap on ‘change photo’. However, you will notice that there is no direct option to remove your profile picture from here.
- Open Chrome Browser: Go back to your main menu and open the Chrome browser on your phone.
- Search for an Empty Profile Picture: In the search bar, type ’empty TikTok profile picture’ and select an appropriate blank photo from the search results.
- Save the Photo: Tap and hold the selected blank photo to download it to your phone’s gallery.
- Return to TikTok: Head back to the TikTok app and the ‘edit profile’ page.
- Upload the Blank Photo: Tap on ‘change photo’ again and select ‘upload photo’. Here, choose the blank picture you recently saved to your gallery.
- Save Changes: After selecting the photo, tap ‘save’ at the bottom of the screen. Your profile picture is now effectively a blank one.
