How to Schedule an Instagram Post

  1. Switch to a Business Account: First, open the Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap on the three lines at the top right and scroll down to select Account Type and Tools.
  2. Switch to Professional Account: Tap on Switch to Professional Account and follow the setup process by selecting Continue multiple times. Now, your account is upgraded to a business account.
  3. Start Creating a Post: Tap the plus icon at the bottom and select Post. Choose a photo or multiple photos from your gallery and proceed as you normally would.
  4. Enable Post Scheduling: When you reach the page to add a caption, scroll down and tap More Options. Here, enable the Schedule This Post option.
  5. Select Date and Time: Choose the desired date and time for your post to be published. For example, select March 3rd if you want the post to go live then.
  6. Finalize Scheduling: After setting the date and time, go back and tap Schedule. Your post is now scheduled and will be uploaded automatically at the chosen time.
  7. Manage Scheduled Posts: To view or manage your scheduled posts, tap the three lines at the top right, and select Scheduled Content. Here, you can edit or delete any scheduled post by tapping the three dots next to it.
