Instagram does not directly show friend requests in an easily accessible tab like some other social media platforms. However, by downloading your Instagram data, you can find detailed information about your followers and follow requests. Follow these steps to access your friend request details on Instagram.
How to Access Friend Request Information on Instagram
- Open the Instagram app on your phone’s home screen.
- Navigate to the Instagram homepage.
- Tap on the profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Once on your profile page, tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top right corner.
- Select the Your Activity option from the menu.
- Tap on Download Your Information.
- You will be directed to a new page; tap on Download or Transfer Information.
- Select Your Instagram Account from the provided options.
- Tap Next, then choose the option labeled Some of Your Information.
- Scroll down and select Followers and Following from the list.
- Hit Next, then tap on the Download to Device option.
- Select the desired date range. For comprehensive results, choose All Time.
- Once chosen, tap on the Create Files option.
- Your request will show as processing. When completed, download the file to your device.
After following these steps, you will have access to data regarding your followings and followers, allowing you to view any friend request information within the downloaded files.
