How to See How Many Shares Your Instagram Post Has
Instagram is a popular platform for sharing photos and videos, but knowing how many times your post has been shared can help gauge its reach. This guide will walk you through the steps to check the number of shares your Instagram post has received.
- Connect to the Internet: Ensure you are connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data to access the Instagram app features.
- Open the Instagram App: Launch the Instagram app on your device to get started.
- Access Your Profile: Tap on your profile picture located at the bottom right of the screen to go to your profile page.
- Select a Post: Scroll through your posts and choose the one for which you want to check the share count.
- View Insights: Check the bottom left of your selected post for the View Insights option. Tap on it. If the option isn’t visible, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the post and select View Insights from there.
- Check Share Count: On the insights page, you’ll find various engagement metrics. Focus on the four icons near the top. The number displayed below these icons indicates how many times your post has been shared. If there’s a number present, it represents the share count; if it remains at zero, the post hasn’t been shared yet.
