Instagram makes it easy to keep track of your interactions, but retrieving your full watch history can be a little tricky. This tutorial will guide you through the steps to see your recently watched reels and find reels you’ve interacted with.
How to See Watched History on Instagram
- Open the Instagram app on your phone. This method is applicable to both iPhone and Android users.
- Tap on the Reels tab located at the bottom of the screen.
- If you recently watched a reel and want to revisit it, simply swipe down on the Reels feed to move backward and go through some of the latest reels you have scrolled through. Note: Instagram does not save your entire Reels watch history, so this feature is limited to recently watched reels only.
- For reels you have liked or commented on:
- Tap on your profile icon at the bottom right corner.
- Select the three-line menu at the top right and choose Your Activity from the list.
- In the Your Activity section, you will see different categories including Likes and Comments.
- Tap on Likes to view all the reels you have liked. You can tap on any of these reels to watch them again.
- If you commented on a reel, tap on Comments to find them. This section will list any posts or reels where you’ve left a comment.
- Remember, Instagram only retains a record of the reels you have interacted with, such as likes and comments. Therefore, to ensure you can revisit a reel, make sure to tap the Like button on it.
