How to Send a Large File on WhatsApp
- Open the WhatsApp application: Begin by launching the WhatsApp app on your phone. You will be directed to the chats page where all your conversations are listed.
- Select a chat: Choose any chat from the list to which you wish to send the large file.
- Access the document option: In the chat interface, tap the plus icon located at the bottom left corner.
- Choose Document: From the menu that appears, select ‘Document’ to indicate that you’re sending a file.
- Select file location: Tap ‘Choose from Files’ to navigate through your phone’s storage and find the document you want to send. Note that files up to 2GB can be sent this way.
- Select the document: Locate and tap on the desired document, then press ‘Open’ at the top right corner.
- Add a caption (optional): Before sending, you can also add a caption to your file if desired.
- Send the file: Finally, tap on the send button situated at the bottom right corner to send your file.
