How to Send a WhatsApp ‘View Once’ Message
WhatsApp’s ‘View Once’ feature allows users to send photos and videos that disappear after being opened, enhancing privacy in conversations. Follow these simple steps to share your media securely on WhatsApp.
- Open the WhatsApp application on your phone. This will take you to the chats page where all conversations with your contacts are displayed.
- Select a chat by tapping on any conversation from your list of chats.
- Tap on the camera icon located in the top panel of the chat interface.
- Capture a photo or video by using the camera. Tap on the capture button to take a photo.
- Enable the ‘View Once’ feature by tapping on the View Once icon in the text box.
- Confirm your choice by tapping on ‘okay’ when prompted.
- Finally, tap on the send button to share the media as a ‘View Once’ message.
This will ensure that the sent photo or video can only be viewed once by the recipient, after which it will disappear from the chat.
