How to Set a Status on WhatsApp
- Open the WhatsApp application on your phone.
- You will be on the Chats page, where all your conversations are displayed.
- Navigate to the bottom left corner and tap on Updates.
- On the Updates page, find the top right corner and tap the Add icon.
- Type in your desired text for the status.
- Optionally, add a photo or video to your status from the same screen.
- Use the edit options at the top to customize your status. Tap the Text icon to change the font style and color.
- If desired, tap the S icon to change the background color.
- After making your edits, tap on Status and select who can view your status.
- Tap on Done to confirm your selections.
- Finally, tap the Send button to share your status.
- You have successfully shared a status on WhatsApp!
- You can now view your status and see who has viewed it.
