How to Add Highlight Covers on Instagram
Enhance the visual appeal of your Instagram profile by adding custom highlight covers. Follow this simple guide to create and upload unique covers to your highlights using design apps like Canva or StoryArt.
- Open a Design App: Start by opening a design app such as Canva or StoryArt on your device.
- Select a Template: Choose a template that suits the style you want for your highlight cover.
- Design Your Cover: Customize the cover with colors, icons, or text to fit your aesthetic.
- Save the Design: Once you’re satisfied with the design, save it to your phone.
- Open the Instagram App: Launch Instagram and navigate to your profile by tapping the profile icon at the bottom right of the screen.
- Access Highlight Section: Look for the highlight section just below your bio.
- Choose Highlight to Edit: Tap and hold on the highlight you want to edit, then select “Edit Highlight” from the menu that appears.
- Edit Cover: Tap “Edit Cover” to view the images currently in your highlight.
- Select Custom Cover: Tap the gallery icon located at the bottom to access your phone’s photos.
- Upload the Cover Image: Select your newly designed cover image, adjust its position if necessary, and then tap “Done.”
