How to Unarchive Instagram Posts
Have you archived an Instagram post and want to bring it back to your profile? Follow these simple steps to quickly unarchive your Instagram posts and restore them to your profile.
- Open the Instagram app and tap on your profile icon located at the bottom right corner.
- If your post is missing from your profile, it might be in your archive. To find it, tap on the three lines at the top right.
- Select Your Activity from the menu, then tap on Archive at the top of the page.
- At the top of the archive page, you will see different types of archives like Stories Archive or Live Archive. Ensure you switch to Post Archive if needed.
- Scroll through your archived posts and locate the one you want to restore.
- Tap on the post you wish to unarchive, then tap on the three dots at the top right.
- Select Show on Profile. This will move the post from your archive back to your Instagram profile.
- If you’d like to manage how Instagram archives your content, return to the Archive menu and tap on the three dots at the top right again.
- Under Settings, you will find options to control how posts, stories, and live videos are stored in the archive.
- You can also choose to delete archived posts permanently if they are no longer needed.
