How to Deactivate Snapchat Account
- To get started, open the Snapchat application on your phone.
- You will be taken to the Snapchat camera screen. Go to the top left corner and tap on your profile.
- From your profile page, tap on the settings icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the “My Account” section and tap on delete account.
- Enter your Snapchat username and password.
- If you’re sure you want to delete your account, tap on continue to delete your account.
- Your account will now be deactivated. Your friends won’t be able to contact you on Snapchat, and you will lose any saved snaps as well as unopened snaps and chats after 30 days.
- If you want to reactivate your account within 30 days, just log in to Snapchat again before the deadline.
